ONLINE: THE STREAMER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY | Graffiti Tour Vienna - Donaukanal (Danube Canal) – SEASON 1, EPISODE IV

The Austrian Cultural Fora New Delhi, Mexico City, New York and Washington D.C. collaborated with Lukas Schiemer for the production of musical virtual tours of four extraordinary cultural sites in Austria.

In the first three episodes of “The Streamers’s Guide to the Galaxy – Season I”, the Austrian multi-media artist Lukas Schiemer maneuvers a shopping cart filled with instruments and computers through rooms in the Museum of Fine Arts, the Secession in Vienna as well as the Bruseum in Graz.  The walking musician is creating a live soundtrack for the moving images; every move, every step, and the music performed by Lukas Schiemer are captured by a 360° camera attached to his cart.

In the fourth, and so far the last episode of the series, Lukas Schiemer elevates his 360° video and performance project to a new level. He takes a ride in a bicycle rickshaw conducted by a Viennese street art guide. On this journey along the Danube Canal the artist introduces his audience to this new cultural hotspot in Vienna while featuring his music and compositions.
